ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN VASE With HAND PAINTED SCENE AND WAX SEAL

  

An antique Chinese porcelain vase with a lovely hand painted scene of an old man showing the flight of a crane to a young boy. The vase measures approximately 4.5" in diameter by 11" tall. There are small imperfections in both the porcelain and the glaze. There is a discolored line under the glaze from the bottom on the right side of the scene.

It looks like a crack but when viewed under magnification it appears to be a discoloration. There is some wear to the gilt border at the top. Stamped on the bottom with a series of illegible Chinese characters. Additionally marked with an X. The remnants of a wax seal also with Chinese characters is present.
