Antique Porcelain Urn/Pokal w/Bronze Mounts Hand-Painted Sevres France dat. Description: Beautiful antique porcelain urn/pokal with hand-painted intricate decorations and gilded bronze mounts. It was made in Sevres - one of the most important porcelain production factories in the town of Sevres in outskirts of Paris.

Marked with famous "Double Louis" mark with the date numbers for 1762 and 1770. Every single rose flower is meticulously hand-painted connecting each other through green leaves. Beautiful classical shape with fire-gilded bronze nicely mounts accenting the porcelain body.

Please note that this is a decorative urn by design. It is not supposed to be a drinking vessel or a vase.

The lid and the body show different date stamps, however the color of the rose flowers on the lid and the green leaves are matching the ones on the body perfectly.
