Meissen Hand Painted Porcelain Figure of Grape-Wine Wreath Cherub circa 1880s. Antique Meissen porcelain hand painted figure of a standing Cherub holding a naturalistic grape-wine half garland. He is wearing a lovely matching grape-wine head wreath, dressed with light lavender cloth.

Standing barefoot on the grass ground. Overall very good condition, with minor professional restoration to the grape-wine garland, around his right hand. Some head wreath paint touch-up.

Tear and wear commensurate with age and use. High Quality Meissen for Astute Collectors. Marked: Meissen crossed swords, impressed numbers 23, with further painted number 19 height 5 in. Please note: price set with-in reasonable range based on condition of the article.
