RARE VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN DOLL PIN CUSHION WITH REAL HAIR. This is a Beautiful Rare Victorian Hand Painted Porcelain Doll Pin Cushion with Real Hair, i would date this rare pin cushion to circa 1890 making it over 120 years old, though the design of this wonderful pin cushion is in 18th century Georgian dress, the detailing to this Victorian Lady pin Cushion is stunning, she has been crafted with a porcelain head, body and arms, her wonderful face is hand painted and she has a wonderful expression, she has real hair which fall to her shoulders in ringlets and she is wearing a lovely green cap, she is wearing a Georgian Ladies dress- ball gown of circa 1760 which is beautiful, her ball gown is stunning so very so very 18th century, the gown is crafted in a green velvet with faux fur trim and wonderful rosette silk flowers, to the body of the gown it is trimmed with lace around the neckline and to the cuffs, under her ball gown she is wearing a lace underskirt, this is finished beautifully with a large waisted belt and a wonderful buckle, she also has a flower to the back, you will see many doll pin cushion on the market but this is so rare with having real hair and in 18th century dress, shes in lovely condition with just the material a little faded over time, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, this would have once belonged to a wealthy Victorian lady and used daily, when sewing was a pass time to show off your skills, this will add something very special to any collection.
