Superb matching pair of Royal Vienna porcelain vases have eight hand-painted pictorial scenes, each rendered in exquisite detail and representative of the fashion, style and culture of the time. (Each side is painted differently on the bases, the mid-sections, and on the body of the main part of the vases).

Each vase is comprised of three parts; there are no lids. The bottom is marked with an under-glazed (slanted'beehive') blue shield the hallmark of Royal Vienna Bindenschild in the mid-1700's. Then,'Guide To Pottery & Porcelain Marks'; Germany Page 17.
