Superb pair of antique URNS / VASES with handles. Heavily gilded porcelain, hand decorated with scenes of couples / lovers. French, most likely from Paris, second half of 19th century. There is a metal rod holding each vase and stand together, so won't hold water - decorative purposes only. The height is about 8.75 / 22.5 cm. Metal rod is holding separate parts. Signs of wear such as fine surface scratches, gilding is worn off etc. One chip on the handle.

Please refer to photos for the rest of condition. Range from fewer carbon emissions to saving water and reducing waste. Second-hand market reduces the need to manufacture a new item and thus saves resources.

Items must be collected within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Please note - if collecting in person, you will be bringing your own packaging. I post a lot of fragile goods, and even after careful packing, breakages may still happen due to some irresponsible couriers. Courier companies don't insure fragiles so I cannot claim anything back for damages.

The amount for each broken item in the set will be calculated by dividing the price of the whole set by the number of items in the set. If you find that your item has arrived damaged or doesn't seem to fit the description - please contact me within 5 days after receiving your item.
