19th Century Vienna Porcelain Hand Painted Scenic Vase Red Gilt Austria Beehive. This exquisite hand-painted Austria, Vienna vase from the early 19th century is a treasure for any antique collector. May be Royal Vienna but more likely from the firm of Ernst Wahliss. Mark on base is a hand painted beehive overglaze in blue with Austria. Vase measures 12.75 inches height.

Base is 4.5 inches square. Gilt loss on rim and other areas throughout. Screw is loose and vase needs tightening. Seems to be missing lid but possibly did not have one. I did not find any chips or cracks.

Wear on the rim as you can see in the photos. There appears to be a plastic insert inside added at a later date possibly for stability?

Both hand painted scenes feature figures in outdoor setting. Lovely details with deep red burgundy and gilt add to the appeal of this piece.
