19thC Grainger & Co Worcester Porcelain Jewelled Flask Hand Painted Floral Gilt
This is a pretty antique porcelain flask with lots of decorative detailing. This is a well known type of decoration from this factory, known as " jewelled ". There is gilt detailing around the flowers and on the ornate base, handles, and lid. It is marked G & Co, W. The stopper is good and so is the mouth where the stopper fits in. In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. No chips or cracks from what I can see. There are a few surface scuffs and some of the gilding is worn. Please see pictures for more details and visual confirmation of condition. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
