An exquisite Pair of old Italian Capodimonte Lamps from the early to mid-20th-century. Handcrafted of high relief molded porcelain.

Artistically hand-painted and embellished with gold-leaf. Bouffant body in six puffy sections. Designed with alternating pastoral scenes of young girls playing the lute, singing and dancing in a garden, and pierced sections covered in drifts of gilded creme flowers.

Harmonious colors recall the freshness of springtime: the predominant color hues are rose, warm yellow, emerald green, and creme accentuated with dark green. Porcelain lamp body rests on an ornate brass support held up by four dolphins and anchored to an elegantly curved square brass base finished with intricate brass filigree. 32 High, to tip of finial.

The lamps were rewired to meet current USA UL Safety Standards and work perfectly. For your convenience, each lamp has an ON-OFF power switch on the lamp base. To achieve different light intensities with a 3-way light bulb --- Position 1 (50 Watts); Position 2 (100 Watts); Position 3 (150 Watts) --- simply use the power switch knob on the lamp socket to choose your preferred level of brightness.
