Please read the whole description! On offer is a Chinese Cantonese 19th century Porcelain circular Famille Rose Tureen. It is approximately 23.2 cm wide/long (at the top lid part) and 16 cm tall(with the lid on). Decorated throughout with a very characteristic 19th century floral Famille Rose pattern.
A very nice decorative item, an item to be used for its intended purpose, alongside a piece for Chinese porcelain collectors. Condition Report: This bowl is in reasonable antique condition, with wear and tear and damages. There are a couple of/some chips to the outer rim of both the lid and the main body of the tureen. There is a spot where those chips are quite large (please see photo 9).
There is a chip to the top lid part as well. There is a hairline in the inner side of the lid as well (please message me for photo). Last there is some fading to the colours, as expected from an item of this age.
But this is quite normal for a porcelain item of this age. And those blemishes don't affect its functionality or integrity. Should you need any additional info, please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. I would be very happy to assist you. Please study the photos provided as they form part of the description.
Should you need more photos I would be very happy to provide you with them. What you see is what you get! A few things about me and my listings for art pieces.
