Antique Chinese Fencai - Rose Family - hand painted plate circa late 1800s. These celadon plates are hand painted in the traditional Rose Medallion palette which features birds, flowers, butterflies or moths.

In very fine condition, with no chips - a few rim frits and some fading to paint at bird's head for example, all commensurate with age and fine care (see photos).
