Antique Chinese Wedding Pillow Headrest Sancai Glaze Tang Dynasty 618-907. A superb Chinese Tang Dynasty sancai wedding pillow decorated with entwined love birds on a Buddhist Lotus Blossom, vivid green, amber, blue and cream glazes, with all four sides resist decorated, abstract patterns. This pillow would have been presented as wedding gift, to newlyweds over 1000 years ago! Entwined love birds symbolising the newlyweds with the Lotus blossom representing future child. 11.0 cm, 110 mm.
