Antique Chinese Qianlong-marked Large Blue and White Moon Flask; Dragons Chasing a Pearl. Stunning, large Qianlong-marked blue and white moon flask painted with two dragons chasing a pearl, with clouds over a foaming seascape. Clear six-character Qianlong period marks in Zhuanshu seal script in underglaze blue to the base. Likely a late 19th/early 20th century reproduction piece but still very good quality and very impressive. This is a large flask, 34cm tall, 30cm wide and weighs 2.5kg. A very good, imposing size for any collection. The flask is generally in very good condition other than a crack running from the front right handle to the rim. There is also some slight roughness at the joins of the right handle to the body of the vase and the neck so its possible the handle has been damaged and/or removed in the past and restored.
