Antique Coalport Bowl Hand Painted Birds Schneeballen Decoration On The Outside

  

Gorgeous rare antique Coalport porcelain footed bowl. A beautiful shaped bowl it stands on four scrolled feet, a scrolled edge rim and pierced corners. The inside of the bowl hand decorated with birds in branches, moths, beetles and bugs.

The outside of the bowl decorated in a Meissen style known as Schneeballen which is applied small white flower heads. The rim of the bowl gold gilt. A very rare antique Coalport decorative piece. Date :- 1830 / 1840.

Size :- It measures 10 cm / 4 inches in height and 20 cm / 8 inches by 20 cm / 8 inches. Condition :- In good condition for age tiny chip to rim. Small firing crack to one of the pierced sections which can only be seen on the inside nothing on the outside.

A couple of spots of flaking to some of the painting which is common on Coalport hand painted items of that period. Please study photos to help gauge condition.
