Antique 19th Century Heufel Dresden Round Cache Pot Footed Vase. 5 Unique Hand Painted Colorful Birds Gilt Florals. 1900 painted cache pot vase! This Rococo style round footed vase bears the Dresden mark of (Georg)Heufel & Co. There are 5 unique colorful birds with lush gold gilt scrolls and florals sprays throughout. The feet have a shell and cabriole detail.

Very good condition with no damage. A few areas of gold loss on rim. The birds are very realistic and highly detailed.

Measures 5 1/4 inch in height. 5 1/4 inch in width at widest point of bowl. Each bird is so unique.

The expressions and life like poses are wonderful. You will find yourself gazing at each one. It is hard to choose a favorite! The mark on the base is an H in a triangle in blue with Dresden below that. There are a few marks used by Heufel but I believe this vase dates to late 19th century or early 1900.
