Taisho period's (circa 1920) hand painted earthenware Japanese Satsuma lidded creamer, Kichizan. Marked by hand to the underside. Decorated with a landscape scene of a lakeside life. In good conditions, no chips, cracks or restoration, minor signs of wear.
He body has the usual crazing to the glaze. This is a highly collectable and decorative item and great for display on its own or as part of a collection antique Japanese earthenware. Any bright spots in the pictures can be attributed to lighting. The conditions description is a statement of opinion only, for these reasons, please look carefully at each photo.
