Antique Floral Botanical SET 12 Plates German Porcelain Hand Paint OUTSTANDING

  

This is a STUNNING set of 12 TWELVE square plates, measuring 8 x 8 size. From Bavaria Germany, there are 4 different floral designs in this set that are intricate and accurate from a botanical standpoint, These hand-painted plates are meant for display rather than use, and look grand in wall display 4 x 3 pattern.

The moss green border on the plates is intricately decorated with an applied gold floral filigree pattern and the edge of the plate is rimmed in gold. There is a butter yellow ring, and then another gold filigree which resembles a fleur-de-lis In the centers is a spectacular floral posy. The pictures, despite numerous attempts! Don't begin the do these plates justice.

I have included a close up of each plate design for your review. The last picture is included so you can see the butter yellow color of the ring around the the center. I just could not get a picture that seemed to capture all of the beauty here. Upon close inspection, I find 11 of these porcelain plates in near mint condition, and a 12th plate that has been expertly repaired.

I can't really tell what the original issue was that required a repair, but I have provided you with 3 pictures to review it. It is not easy to see in the pictures, or in-person.

My husband could not find the repair even when I handed him the plate and said "find it"..... Of course that may say more about the husband, than the plate. The are back stamped with a logo and BAVARIA TIRSCHENRUTH DECORATED IN OWN STUDIO. Happy to answer any questions, thanks.
