A wonderful pair of German Dresden Porcelain vases. Almost certainly decorated by the Helena Wolfsohn studio. The large vases in an unusual hexagonal shape. Hand painted with Watteau style panels of lovers in gardens, panels of summer flowers on a gorgeous green / blue ground and finished with very fine gold gilding.
The hexagonal cover also having hand painted panels. Unmarked but almost certainly Helena Wolfsohn studio. As you can see an impressive rare pair of antique porcelain vases. Date :- Late 19th century. Size :- It measures 31 cm / 12 1/4 inches in height and 18 cm / 7 inches across the widest point. Condition :- In good antique original condition tiny flea bite to the inside of the rim of one of vases, rubbing to some of the gilding in places mainly to the finials on the lids.
