Antique Henri Ardant Limoges Porcelain Aesthetic Period Vase Japonisme, Painted

  
For sale here is this rare, Aesthetic period porcelain vase by Henri Ardant of Limoges. The vase is beautifully hand-painted with flowers on an ivory-coloured ground. This superb Japonisme vase has gilt ring handles. To an applied porcelain oval on the base.

Dates to the late 19th century; c1870-80. The vase measures 10 inches high, 6 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep. It is in very good antique condition with no damage.

The small applied porcelain pad to the base (with the embossed mark) has some hairlines, but this in no way affects the vase.
