Antique MEISSEN Hand Painted Birds and Insects Small Porcelain Teapot. Size (approx): 4 2/5" tall including lid x 5 1/2" width (handle to spout). This wonderful teapot shows some slight marks and damages......

Lid - it has a damaged leaf (9th pic), also there are 4 very tiny chips almost insignificant around the edge (10th pic)..... Spout - it has damaged top part (11th pic), also it shows a long fine crack in the bottom only (12th pic) this crack looks made by manufacturing or by the time..... The rest of this teapot show some wear, principally gold paint (principally lid edge part)...

Although this small teapot shows some damages, it is still a very collectible Meissen porcelain. It is a beautiful artwork in porcelain hard to find and more difficult with this classic meissen design "Birds and Insects" I hope you like this piece as much as I do......
