Antique Octagonal Kangxi RARE Imari 18th-century Chinese Bowl
This is a particularly rare example owing to it's octagonal form. The bowl features beautiful hand-painted scenes, from pagodas to natural scenery, with a central motif of a bronze vessel. The blue cobalt, copper red and gilt are typical of kangxi, imari-type porcelain. Considering it is around 300 years old, it is in wonderful condition. It has a minor chip to the top rim and a few nibbles on the bottom foot, both photographed. There is minor scratching and wear to the inner glaze, as anticipated for a piece of this age. If there were no chips, this would be an exceptionally valuable piece!
