Antique Pair Porcelain Samuel Alcock Vase Hand Painted Flowers Blue Ground

  

A gorgeous pair of antique English porcelain vases by Samuel Alcock. Rococo design with ornate leaf shaped handles. Hand painted with summer flowers on a blue ground finished with fine gold gilding. Marked with the hand written pattern number 7177 in puce.

Dating around 1820 / 1835. They measure 25 cm / 9 3/4 inches in height and 14 cm / 5 1/2 inches across the handles. One in good condition the other having a section of the rim missing and a hairline caused by the loss but as you can see they still show well.
