Antique porcelain candlestick hallmarked to Meissen

Beautiful antique porcelain candlestick or candelabrum, with wonderful spring colours spiralling around the centre of the candlestick. The pastels delicately reflect against the brilliant golden gilt. The bone-white porcelain is carefully shaped and guided into a finely textured form that is almost soft to the touch. Hallmarked to Meissen of Dresden, Germany; we can see by the crossed swords mark.
The producers of the first European hard-paste porcelain, Meissen porcelain has held the standard in the industry since its inception in 1708; they are lauded as perhaps the most famous porcelain brand in the world. Dated to mid 19th century. Excellent antique condition, very fine work; very few losses to the leaves of the flowers, otherwise ideal condition.
Small line on the enamel on the upper part of the candelabrum, a factory defect, barely visible. Please carefully regard all photos. Item will be sent tracked and insured.
