Caughley Hand Painted Barbeaux Cornflowers & Gold Coffee Cup & Saucer Circa 1795 Nice porcelain tea cup in the Broseley shape with 25 vertical flutes. Decorated in the Barbeaux pattern with hand painted blue and red cornflowers. Gold gilding along the rim. With a Barbeaux cornflower border. Has some wear to the gilding, and a crack to the bottom of the handle, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
