Chinese 18th C Porcelain Teapot with Dutch Amsterdam Bont Decoration C 1740+. Presenting a Scarce Chinese Antique Porcelain Bont Teapot which has been Painted in Amsterdam and which Dates to the18th Century Circa 1740+. Decorated in Underglaze Blue with Prunus Blossom within a Fan Shaped Cartouche to Both Sides Bont Decoration, which would of been Done in Amsterdam, with Beautiful Gilt Heighted Iron Red Flowers and Foliate, which are Over Painted on Fan and Trailing to Both Sides The Original Lid is Decorated in the Same Manner With Flower and Fooliate Decoration to Handle and Spout Measures 17 cm Wide and 14 cm High. Good Antique Conditon - with some alterations, there has been an internal metal strainer added to the interior with the use of metal, the handle has been off, possibly intentionally to insulate handle to stop it getting too hot and there are minute nibbles to tip of spout.
