Welcome to Yeran important Chinese fine art sale. The cylindrical body rising to a ribbed neck with everted rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior with carps in iron-red surrounded by gilded aquatic plants and animals, all reserved on a powder-blue ground. The vase is in an excellent display condition. There are slight scratches to the surface and rubbing of the gilding. And a hairline crack inside the rim and a star crack to the base.
