This porcelain teapot , was made in China , circa 1750. It was made for the export market , and is decorated with handpainted chinese figures in a garden. It stands at measures 5 1/8" high and measures 7" in diameter from the spout to the handle. There are two metal pins , one each side of the spout , which where put on to hold a tea strainer on the inside , which is no longer there , there are two chips on the edge of the cover and a chip on the top edge of the teapot , and the handle has been broken off and repaired , as shown.
