Chinese Famille Rose Jar & Cover (1912-1949)

  
Here we have a quite lovely Chinese famille rose jar, cover decorated with figures in varying poses. The item has no chips or cracks and the finish is still quite good only showing some time wear on the lid. (Rim) some wear to the painting. On the inside if the jar there are two star shaped small surface cracks these are surface only. The finial on the lid of the jar is a tiny fraction of centre but is not noticeable unless you are literally looking for it.

This is a very attractive item that makes a statement situated on a shelf/table or part of an already collection. The hardwood carved stand is for display only and not for sale. Height of jar with cover/lid... Width approximately at widest point being the middle of jar around 8 inches circumference. Height of jar alone = 11 inches.
