Exceptional Chinese Republic period porcelain vase decorated with The Eight Horses of Wang Mu, hand-painted in the manner of paintings by Giuseppe Castiglione. Red apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark stamped to the base. In very good condition with only minor loss of enamels consistent with age and one small chip to the foot as per photographs. Dimensions Height: 21.5 cm Diameter: 12 cm.
