Famille Rose, Porcelain Brush Pot, Raised on ruyi shaped feet, the cylindrical body finely hand painted with a continuous, tranquil mountainous landscape scene of little thatched roof homes by the side of a large lake overhung by flowering trees and pines, all surrounded by steep, rocky, green blue hills and mountains. Calligraphy poem to reverse, all above a band of pink ground, hand painted with scrolling flowers of lotus, peony and chrysanthemum, the pot standing on four little ruyi shaped feet each decorated with a turquoise ground and chrysanthemum flowers, pink enamel scrolling to the underside. Blue enamel, Yongzheng, four character mark within double square to base. Height 7 inches (17.5 cm).

Diameter 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm). Excellent condition, some very slight crazing to the enamels on little feet and a little wear to base of feet. Please refer to the photographs as they form an important part of the description.
