1795 Paris Porcelain Hand Painted Butterfly Plate 22cm 8. There is also a book made about the life of Christopher Potter titled'The Revolutionary Potter. It features beautiful and intricate butterfly & insect designs against a white porcelain ground with gilt design. It measures approximately 22cm in diameter and is in excellent age-related condition. There are some minor marks to the gilt design but these are to be expected and doesn't affect the display value of this beautiful piece.
