Diana Cargo'Flying Geese' Bowl & Saucer, 1817

  

A Chinese export porcelain bowl and saucer decorated in the'Flying Geese' pattern salvaged from. Both pieces feature a fenced pavillion beside a willow in a lakescape with a sampan and flying geese. The bowl measures 10.5cm in diameter at the rim and 5.5cm tall; the saucer measures 15cm in diameter. There are a few small firing imperfections to the glaze including a superficial fault line at the rim of the bowl (see last photo) but the set is generally in ex.
