Early 18th Century Meissen Tea Caddy Hand Painted with Exotic Birds. Of arched rectangular form, decorated on either side with exotic birds amidst the branches of a tree, in colour. The side panels decorated with Deutsches Blumen.

Indistinct Blue Meissen mark to the base. In very good antique condition, with minor nibbles to the base. And age related paint wear.
