Handpainted PAIR of fruit vases. Wonderful pair of six inch bone china lided vases.
Handpainted, gilded and fired seven times in my Worcestershire kiln. Both painted all round, signed and with the Christopher Hughes backstamp. I was mentored at the Worcester factory in the Seventies by the legendary fruit painter Jack Freeman. There is an awful lot of work in these pieces and the quality is excellent. The white vases are made in Hallow, near Worcester by the grandson of the famous artist Harry Davis. They make the best bone china I have ever painted on!Each is presented in a blue silk lined display box. Certificate of authenticity and artists biography.
