French Chantilly Porcelain Tea Set Japanese Kakiemon Style Hand Painted Pretty

  

Very pretty French, porcelain part tea set early 20th century. Beautiful hand painted pattern in the Japanese Kakiemon style featuring flowers birds and insects with a celadon green banding and gold g ilt edging. The set consists of; teapot, twin handled covered pot, 2 tea cups and sauce rs , 12 tea plates, 1 large cake plate, and 2 oblong serving plates.

The twin handled pot and cover sugar? Does have a chip on the top rim - please see photos.

Otherwise the set is in very good condition with no other chips, cracks or crazing. All the pieces are marked "Medicis" with a red hunting horn to base and could possibly have been made by Limoges or Samson, although not entirely sure as this is a very rare set. It will be packed with care and insured.
