Hand-Painted Order of St Vladimir Porcelain Plate REPLICA of Gardner 1783 Russia
An artist-signed, hand-painted Russian porcelain plate REPLICA of the porcelain service created for the cavaliers of the Order of St. The centre of the plate painted with the star of the order and the motto "Polza Chest i Slava" (Usefulness, Honour and Glory) in Cyrillic and the Cyrillic monogram SRKV which stands for "Sviatoi Ravnoapostolnyi Kniaz Vladimir" (Prince St Vladimir, Equal to the Apostles), the border with the red and black sash and badge of the Order, the edge finished with a band of gilding. This replica was created in the 1980s in overglaze paint and is signed on the back A.
