Japanese Satsuma Meiji Period Hand Painted Enamel on Porcelain Bowl late 19th ct. A colorful Japanese Satsuma Chrysanthemums motif five side porcelain bowl, heavily decorated with hand painted enamel floral motif drawings, with Chrysanthemums as a main accent against Gilt background, with gilded edges and finished with raised gilt beads.

The porcelain bowl marked with Shimazu family crest, Meiji period. Overall very good condition, only very minor chip to the side of the edge. Excellent Collector's Article of Japanese Heritage. Marked: Satsuma, Shimazu family crest, Meiji period diameter 7.125 in. We will leave a feedback after customer's initial input.
