I have for your consideration a fabulous Limoges France porcelain jardiniere on its original base. The jardiniere is decorated with the hand-painted colorful Chrysanthemums with different on either side, with the white raised enameling on the petals. The jardinière and base are both marked by Délinieres Limoges Porcelains Factory, ca 1894 to 1900.
In 1860 Remy Délinières and P. Guéry opened the La Taupinière porcelain factory on Rue Albert Thomas in Limoges. Délinières became director, and in 1881 they first began decorating some of their porcelains. Sitting on the plinth, the jardiniere soars to a height of almost 11 (28 cm) high. The jardiniere measures 8.5" (21.5 cm) tall and 8.6" (22 cm) across at the mouth opening. The circumference is an impressive 35.75(91 cm) at its widest. Both of the jardiniere and its base are in good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, hairlines or spiders. Thank you very much for visiting my shop Mirabeau & Rive-Gauche Antiques to see the other hand-painted porcelain items: Jardiniere, vase, tray, charger..
