Ming Wanli Kraak porcelain dish Deer/Chilong Dragons, 1565-1600
An impressive Kraak porcelain dish of Border ii type as classified by Rinaldi. Features a'two deer in landscape central motif' but instead of the usual'ducks-among-water. Plants'on the flat rim there are Chilong dragons with a scrolling floral design. Dish was manufactured in Jingdezhen at the end of the 16th century.
