Pair of antique (19th Century) Chinese Export Rose Medallion cups and saucers

  

A pair of 19th Century Chinese export Rose Medallion cups and saucers. The central medallion depicts trees, peonies and rocks. There are four main panels (reserves). A group of Chinese people in a house setting.

Each panel is outlined with intricate C-scroll borders set against pink florals and green trendrils between the panels. Gold gilding detail is also visible adding detail to the pieces.

Cups - D: of cup 7cm. The pieces are in excellent condition for age with no chips, cracks or repairs. Some small signs of wear commensurate with age do not detract from the items. Please see the photographs which form part of the description.
