QING 18th CENTURY CHINESE QIANLONG PORCELAIN SAUCEBOAT BLUE & WHITE WORCESTER

  

A good 18th Century (Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period) Chinese porcelain sauceboat. This is a very attractive piece, modelled on an antique Worcester sauceboat.

The sides have a lovely relief-moulded design of flowers, foliage and stylised scrolls, as shown. The interior, handle and under the spout are painted in underglaze cobalt blue with floral sprays. The body is press-moulded as evidenced by the seam at the foot. 16cms long x 7.5 cms high overall, including the handle. A lovely piece either for the antique Worcester or 18th century porcelain collector.

There is a very small chip / sliver to the underside edge of the pouring lip c. Apart from this blemish the boat is in lovely condition. All items are packed with care, to a high standard and sent via tracked and signed for courier. Arrived on time and as described.
