A stunning antique Chinese peony flowers. Porcelain bottle vase with long flared neck elegantly widening towards the rim, on a wide base. Painted in shades of cobalt blue - from light and transparent to rich and radiant tones. All design elements are outlined with a thin dark blue lines. All colour fillings are extremely well contained within their borders. The neck is decorated with a repeating detailed. Bamboo leaves and is separated from the body by a blue band with repeating white foo dogs facing each other. The body is filled with a peony spray on meandering stems with curling leaves, separated from the base by a ruji band in the shape of repeating waves. The peony flowers are are drawn in the greatest detail, every petal is detailed to its multiple v. The base is covered with the repeating.
