Royal Worcester Highland Cattle Hand Painted Vase & Cover by John Stinton 12.5

  

Hand painted twin handled inverse baluster form, trophy shape vase with matching cover. Decorated with highland cows in a mountain landscape background, gold acanthus handles, reticulated neck with circular base. Some of the background painting is stripped and there is hairline to base of foot (shown in last 2 photos with arrow). It measures 33cm high to finial x 19cm wide from handle to handle. Signed by John Stinton (1854 - 1956) Royal Worcester best known artist for Highland Cattle Scenes.
