Samuel Alcock Sauce Tureen Hand Painted Flowers Rococo Tureen 1820s. Stunning Samuel Alcock Sauce Tureen beautifully hand painted in flamboyant flowers, in shades of pink, lavender grey brown and green. The tureen has heavily gilded and ornate rim, pedestal, handles and botanical finial and the lid is an usual wavy shape.

There is no makers mark but can confirm that the tureen is made by Samuel Alcock based on the plates that comes with it. Overall despite the above faults the piece is in very good antique condition for its age. No chip or any repair possible age related crazing but not visible to naked eyes.
