Antique English Staffordshire Potteries figure of Death of the Lion Queen Ellen Bright. Daughter of John Bright a bugle player age 16 she became a Lion Queen performing at Windsor Castle for Queen Victoria.

She died January 1850 killed by a tiger mid performance. Female lion queens were then band. Complete and in good condition with signs of historic repairs.
