Chinese Porcelain Teapot, Delicately Hand Painted, Original Pottery Mark. The pot is stamped on the back with the Original Pottery Identification Marks. It reads'great king (insert name of emperor) period make' to mark its date - early 20th century. The pot is beautifully hand painted in a delicate and light manner. The teapot is small and suited to 2 people in classic Chinese high tea fashion.

The pictures depict a scene where two women of equal status (going by similar dress and head gear) meet on a bridge with a small waterfall in the background. Both women are served by two men each. The lower half of the pot depicts butterflies and colourful flowering foliage. The lid depicts butterflies and foliage in a classic floral design. Weight: 373g height: 10cm diameter: 15cm (with spout and handle).
