Vintage DRESDEN Fine Porcelain Hand Painted Lovers Cardgame L9 FIGURINE. Georgian style made mid century. This listing is for a most decorative and interesting item. It is a large porcelain figurine of two LOVERS a very pretty female and her beau (maybe)? Sharing sweet nothings together or secrets maybe over a table set out as a card game in progress.

The period costumes are very reminiscent of the aristocracy during the 17th and 18th centuries. This figural couple is on an oval rocaille socket. A white porcelain body, glazed polychrome on glazed painting and accents in gold. The beauty is in the detail of the FINELY ARRANGED AND POSITIONED PORCELAIN LACE and very realistic positioning of the hands and bodies... Even the expression in the fine painting of face details and exquisite porcelain lace, and the added bonus that there is very little damage as far as I can see.

CONDITION: There are no chips and no loss of fingers or any other damage. Maybe the tiniest portions of lace. MEASUREMENTS: 9" wide x 5 1/2" deep 7 1/2 high.

There is no signature on the base but it appears to to in the same manner as the German Unterweissbach Workshop for porcelain art est. Please message me if you have a query.
